FREE VENUE TEAM ENTRY
We offer a FREE Staff Team for each host venue. You will be able to create a Free team for your staff to enter one of the following Team options:
Team 1.5K (MySwimathon or Venue-hosted Sessions)
Team 5K (MySwimathon or Venue-hosted Sessions)

VIDEOS
For 2025, Swimathon undertook some market segmentation work looking at the demographics of previous participants in the event. We discovered three clear ‘personas’ (ie types of people who tend to join Swimathon)*. We have produced videos from real Swimathon participants in these three ‘Personas’ which you are free to use to promote the event on your social, website and other platforms.
(* These 3 ‘personas’ are not representative of 100% of Swimathon participants of course).
Persona 1 – Tend to be people in their 30s & 40s who enjoy a challenge! They are very successful at fundraising and often are already members. Women make up two-thirds of this group usually.
Persona 2 – Families who want to do an event together. They will usually sign up for the Team event and enjoy training together and challenging each other. They are represented in the videos and photo assets by the wonderful Jackson family.
Persona 3 – Often adults a little older in their mid-50s and above. They enjoy their regular swim sessions and joining an event gives them that extra motivation to keep turning up to their sessions… and they also enjoy giving back to the community.”
The videos are in both WIDE and PORTRAIT formats for use on different social media platforms.
